Safety culture & leadership assessmentFrom reactive safety to strategic learning
A comprehensive safety culture and leadership assessment that helped Aviator Finland move beyond compliance — systematising risk management, improving feedback and reporting, and shifting the mindset from reactive to proactive safety.
In addition to the assessment, we trained shift supervisors and the safety organisation, and provided individual coaching for operational leadership.
Safety culture analysis & development projectFrom safety culture analysis to sustained development
Starting with a safety culture analysis in 2022, a three-year development project was launched to support both the safety organisation and the operational organisation in developing safety practices.
Social responsibility & ESG
Safety is ESG.
We see safety, learning, and ethical leadership as a core part of sustainability — not a separate compliance activity. Our work helps organisations reduce harm, strengthen trust, and build resilience that lasts.
In practice, we support organisations especially in the S and G parts of ESG: psychological safety, Just Culture, responsible investigations, and leadership follow-through.
We also invest in the next generation of safety professionals. Through collaboration with universities and internship placements, we mentor students and help them gain real-world work experience — because developing skilled professionals is one of the most concrete contributions to long-term societal safety.
E — Environment
Operational resilience
Strong learning and risk management reduce disruption — and help organisations prevent cascading failures.
S — Social
Harm reduction & talent development
Blame-free investigations and practical follow-through reduce injuries, stress, and avoidable human cost. We also collaborate with universities and support interns entering the workforce — helping build the next generation of safety professionals.
G — Governance
Ethics-first learning
We help leaders build a Just Culture: clear accountability, psychological safety, and consistent decision-making.
What this enables
- Better reporting and earlier weak-signal detection
- Fewer repeat events through systemic learning
- Leadership routines that sustain follow-through
- A pipeline of skilled safety professionals for the industry
- Clearer evidence for ESG narratives and audits
Our principles
Learning without blame.
We do not approach incidents as a hunt for who. We approach them as an opportunity to understand why the system made sense to people at the time — and what needs to change so the same conditions do not repeat.
This is not only good safety practice — it is also a governance practice: it strengthens trust, improves decision quality, and makes improvement measurable.
